Edward Bawa, the incumbent member of parliament for Bongo, successfully filed his nomination papers for the upcoming NDC parliamentary and presidential primaries. The honorable member of parliament for Bongo, Honourable Edward Bawa was present to grace the commissioning of the Girls model school in Dagliga, a community in the Bongo district of the upper east region. Leaders of the said community and the Bongo District Education Directorate locked heads together in putting up a building to serve as a temporal structure for the schooling activities of the Dagliga model school awaiting the construction of a permanent structure. The commissioning was done later today and the MP whilst giving his speech offered to give the community Ghc5,000 from his common fund to serve as the seed money for the construction of the school block.
