Leaders of the said community and the Bongo District Education Directorate locked heads together in putting up a building to serve as a temporal structure for the schooling activities of the Dagliga model school awaiting the construction of a permanent structure. The Organistion for Indigenous Initiatives and Sustainability (ORGIIS, Ghana) has collaborated with Water resource commission to organize a simulation community flood and drought management plan session for various stakeholders who are key players when it comes to flood and drought issues. This has become necessary after the organization for indigenous initiatives and sustainability (ORGIIS Ghana) has installed early warning systems such as a meteorological station, a community information center and a first aid kit to the community members.
