Hon. Edward Bawa Successfully Filed Nomination Papers for NDC Primaries.

On the morning of March 20th, 2023, a team representing Hon. Edward Bawa, the incumbent member of parliament for Bongo, successfully filed his nomination papers for the upcoming NDC parliamentary and presidential primaries. The team, led by Comrade Akugre Abane, the ward co-ordinator for Samboligo Electoral Area, presented the forms to the Bongo Constituency Election Committee on behalf of the candidate.


The filing of the nomination papers marks an important milestone for Hon. Edward Bawa's bid to retain his seat as the MP for Bongo. The NDC primaries will determine the party's candidates for the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections, and securing a place on the ballot is a crucial step for any aspiring candidate.


Hon. Edward Bawa's team, comprised of zonal Reps, worked tirelessly to ensure that the nomination papers were filed in a timely and efficient manner. The process involved collecting signatures from registered voters in the constituency, as well as submitting other relevant documentation required by the NDC.


Speaking to reporters after the successful filing of the nomination papers, Comrade Akugre Abane expressed his confidence in Hon. Edward Bawa's chances in the upcoming primaries. "We have worked hard to ensure that all the necessary paperwork is in order, and we believe that Hon. Edward Bawa is the best candidate to represent the people of Bongo in parliament," he said.


Hon. Edward Bawa, who was not present at the filing of the nomination papers, expressed his gratitude to his team for their hard work and dedication. "I am humbled by the support of my team and the people of Bongo," he said in a statement. "I look forward to the primaries and the opportunity to continue serving my constituents."


The NDC primaries are expected to be highly contested, with many candidates vying for the opportunity to represent the party in the upcoming elections. However, with the successful filing of his nomination papers, Hon. Edward Bawa has taken a crucial step towards securing his place on the ballot and continuing his work as the MP for Bongo.

The honorable member of parliament for Bongo, Honourable Edward Bawa was present to grace the commissioning of the Girls model school in Dagliga, a community in the Bongo district of the upper east region. Leaders of the said community and the Bongo District Education Directorate locked heads together in putting up a building to serve as a temporal structure for the schooling activities of the Dagliga model school awaiting the construction of a permanent structure. Expertnews awoke this morning to a trending video which shows a certain teacher combining a real computer keyboard to a black board drawn computer in order for him to best explain to his students what Input meant as part of the stages in the information processing cycle. In the video, we could see the teacher by name Akundaare Paul Awinbisa typing with the keyboard and writing on the drawn monitor the same time to depict to the students of Sikabiisi Junior high School in the Bongo district of the Upper East Region how the input data appears on the monitor during typing.
