The Vea Irrigation Dam Spillway Menace will be fixed in 6 months from today - Minister for Roads and Highways to Hon. Edward Bawa. The Vea dam spillway has been a headache to the  people of vea and the Bongo district at large.  During rainy seasons, people find it difficult to cross from Vea to Gowrie, Yariga etc and the vice versa due to the poor road network and absence of bridges. With the poor road network as the main cause, a lot of people do make use of the boats which usually comes with a fee by the boat owner(s). Mr. Saddat Hamidu crossing over to his worksite using a boat. It is therefore a great concern and the MP for Bongo, Honourable Edward Bawa couldn't have turned a deaf ear to his people than to drag the Minister for Roads and Highways to Parliament to answer questions as to when the government will come to salvage the situation. Honourable Edward Bawa Paid A Surprise Visit To Namoo Youth. The Member of Parliament for Bongo, Hon. It is quite noting that prior to the 2020 general elections, Political Party's campaign teams and politically affiliated groups were in motion to which "THE BIG PUSH" of the National Democratic Congress is in no exception.

MP for Bongo Hon. Edward Bawa celebrates June 4 Uprising with Cadres Front . The Member of Parliament for Bongo Hon Edward Bawa returned to his constituency to celebrate the June 4 Uprising. Due to other equally important assignments at the national level, the MP couldn't organize the program on 4th June. He therefore traveled to his constituency on 13th June to specifically celebrate the occasion with the Cadres Front. Addressing Cadres on the occasion, the MP acknowledged the contributions and efforts of Cadres in building the Party (NDC). He therefore encouraged them to continue with their hard work. Speaker after speaker applauded the MP for such an initiative. They pledged to always work hard for NDC to ensure continues victory for the party in Bongo.  Regional representatives at the occasion also applauded the MP and urged other MPs to emulate his initiative.

Edward Bawa continues his constituency thank you tour. This time he visited Kansoe an electoral area in Namoo zone. The residents of Kansoe are putting up a Junior High school on their own so they are currently using a tent as school. The tent they're currently using for the JHS classes. The Assembly Member for the area Hon. Haruna together with community elders led him to the site and appealed to him for assistance.            Hon. Residents Of Apuwongo Applauded Edward Bawa For Renovating Their Only CHPS Compound.

The Member of Parliament for Bongo Constituency in the Upper East Region, Hon. Edward Abambire Bawa is currently embarking on a THANK YOU TOUR .  The Bongo constituency has one hundred and twenty polling stations with a voter population of about fifty nine thousand.  The Member Of Parliament is therefore visiting every polling station and most at times sections to thank the people for voting massively for him and John Dramani Mahama during the December 2020 presidential and Parliamentary elections. One of his visits took him to Apuwongo, a suburb of Bongo. The community was in a jubilant mood upon the arrival of Edward Bawa. Edward Bawa with nurses at the renovated CHPS compound. Honourable Edward Bawa donates hundred bags of cement to Beo Lembiisi Moosi Daboren community

The Member of Parliament for Bongo who is currently on a thank you tour visited Lembiisi Moosi Dabooren, a community in Beo. He was accompanied by some party elders and constituency executives. Speaking at the function, the community leaders expressed their gratitude to the MP for donating hundred bags of cement for the completion of their primary school.  The community on their own started putting up a primary school but ran out of funds. It was therefore a timely intervention when the MP donated hundred bags of cement to them. Beo Lembiisi Moosi Dabooren Primary School The community in thanking the MP used the opportunity to appeal to the government to come to their aid since their children are currently studying under trees even without furniture. They further appealed to the MP to provide the school with a borehole because pupils travel long distance to drink water. The MP also thanked the people for coming out in their numbers to vote for him and John Mahama. He assured them of t
