Boycott all Programs Moderated /MC by Mr. Cletus Avila.

This very afternoon saluted  us with a press release issued by the communication department of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, in the Bongo Constituency headed by the Constituency communication officer Mr. David Asanga.

The press release issued is purposely aimed at directing and informing NDC sympathizers to boycott all programs that have Mr Avila Cletus as the MC.

Boycott of  Programs Moderated /MC by Mr. Cletus Avila.

The National Democratic Congress, NDC, in the Bongo Constituency has reached a decision to boycott all programs and functions that have  Mr Avila Cletus as the MC. 

This decision has been taken following Mr. Avila's spate of lies, vile propaganda and smear campaign aimed at tarnishing the good  image of  our great  NDC party in the constituency.  

In  particular, without recourse, Mr. Avila has embarked on unwarranted and paid agenda to incite  our youth and people against the NDC. While we value constructive criticism in our democratic space, we cannot look on while Mr. Avila continue to denigrate the NDC with lies at the  least opportunity and platform granted him via these programs. 

The NDC has an unparalleled record in terms of human, capital and local economic development in  our constituency and wish to disassociate itself and brand from  individuals like Avila whose only aim is to  apeace their pay masters with lies. 

By this release, the NDC  leadership is calling on all well meaning comrades and sympathizers to  cease, with immediate effect participating in all programs and functions in which Mr. Avila is the MC. 

We also wish to serve notice to our people across the  constituency intending to organize programs that the NDC and it's members will not honor any invitations to programs where Mr. Avila is the MC.

We don't mind having the NDC losing the parliamentary for the first time in Bongo Constituency. The Upper East regional manager for NCA, Mr. Clement Akasoba has sparked conversation with his remarks "We don't mind having the NDC losing the parliamentary for the first time in Bongo Constituency." Mr Clement is amongst the several others who has vowed to ensure that Edward Bawa, NDC PC for Bongo fails in his bid of becoming the member of parliament in the upcoming general elections. This they say is because of Mr Bawa neglect in uniting parliamentary candidates who lost during the party's primaries.
